About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to join Sert Technology Inc. in General Trias City, Cavite. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of our operations, business units, or designated portfolio.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, operational efficiency, and team leadership. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth trajectory and ensuring we achieve our corporate objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of performance and integrity.

Key responsibilities
  1. Organizational Leadership
  • Lead and oversee the overall daily operations of the organization.
  • Ensure all departments comply with company policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  1. Administrative and Operational Management
  • Monitor organizational performance and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Supervise office administration and ensure smooth business operations.
  • Coordinate activities among departments to achieve organizational goals.
  1. People Management
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to managers and supervisors.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and employee engagement.
  • Participate in workforce planning, employee development, and performance management.
  1. Financial Management
  • Assist in budget planning, resource allocation, and cost control initiatives.
  • Review operational and financial reports to support business decisions.
  1. Sales Support and Business Development
  • Support sales initiatives and monitor business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
  1. Strategic Planning and Reporting
  • Prepare management reports and contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth.
  • Recommend and support initiatives that drive long-term business success and sustainability.
What we're looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred
  2. Minimum 5-8 years of progressive management experience, with at least 5 years in a general management or business unit leadership role
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing P&L responsibilities and achieving business targets
  4. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to identify market trends and capitalize on opportunities
  5. Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  7. Demonstrable experience in business development, sales growth and market expansion
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  9. Experience in the technology sector or similar fast-paced, innovation-driven environments is advantageous
  10. Proficiency in business planning, financial management and operational systems
  11. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic business environment
