Clinical Care: Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and annual physical examinations (APE). Diagnose and treat work-related or personal injuries and illnesses.Emergency Response: Lead the factory emergency response for workplace accidents, stabilization, and immediate first aid.Manage medical evacuations and hospital referrals.Occupational Health Management: Assess workplace hazards (e.g., ergonomic strains, chemical exposure, noise levels). Advise the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) team on preventive measures.Wellness & Prevention: Design and implement health promotion programs (e.g., vaccination drives, mental health awareness, fitness and nutrition campaigns).Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clinic operations meet Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) or local occupational safety guidelines.
Maintain confidential, accurate employee medical records.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education & License: Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a valid, active medical license.Specialized Training: Certifications in Occupational Medicine, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) or Postgraduate Occupational Health (PCOH) for physicians.Experience: 1 to 3 years of clinical practice or previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.Soft Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills for reporting to management and advising workers.
