Supply Chain Operations Manager

Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for managing and improving supply chain processes to ensure efficient product flow, supplier performance, and operational excellence. The role oversees distribution operations, supplier relationships, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily supply chain operations covering distribution, logistics, inventory movement, and supplier coordination.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Monitor distribution network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and service level agreements.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely product availability and operational efficiency.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Support supply chain transformation initiatives through technology and ERP systems.
• Prepare operational reports and presentations for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, distribution operations, logistics, or retail supply chain.
• Experience managing multi-store retail supply chains or distribution networks is highly preferred.
• Strong background in supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement/supply chain platforms).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
