Chief Operations Manager – Sleep Center & Dental Office

As we expand our services and impact, we are seeking a strong leader to oversee and streamline day-to-day operations.

Position Summary:

The Chief Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of both the dental and sleep medicine divisions. This individual will oversee team management, patient flow, correct scheduling, vendor coordination, compliance, and systems improvement while aligning operations with the strategic goals of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight:
Manage daily operations across both practices, ensuring efficiency, patient satisfaction, and high-quality care.
  • Team Leadership:
Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Workflow Optimization:
Identify and implement systems to improve scheduling, billing, communication, and office productivity.
  • Patient Experience:
Maintain and improve processes that enhance patient communication, education, and satisfaction throughout their care journey.
  • Compliance & Standards:
Ensure regulatory compliance with dental and medical practice standards (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
  • Financial Awareness:
Collaborate with billing and bookkeeping teams to monitor expenses, manage budgets, and optimize profitability.
  • Vendor & Inventory Management:
Oversee relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely procurement and equipment maintenance.
  • Marketing & Growth:

Coordinate with marketing staff/vendors to support patient acquisition and promote services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in healthcare operations, preferably in both dental and/or sleep medicine settings.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and insurance billing procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • Experience in growing or managing multi-specialty practices.
