Accounting Associate

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparing the Accounts Payable Vouchers (APV’s) to timely process the payments to the Company’s suppliers and service providers.
2. Preparation and/or review of monthly bank reconciliations, fixed assets rollforward schedule, and tax returns.
3. Full assistance to the immediate superior and to the whole Finance team on the monthly and yearly financial close process. Ensures that accruals and other necessary financial adjustments are captured and recorded in the books on time.
4. Handle general accounting functions and works closely with the Accounting Senior Associate and Immediate Superiors to ensure that: a. Transactions are timely and properly captured and recorded in the Company’s books and/or accounting system. b. Analyses, inventories and reconciliations are timely submitted to the immediate superior and Finance Head for review (including the monthly reports required by the Parent Company). c. Regulatory and tax filings/reports are submitted, filed and paid (as necessary) on time. 5. Reports and other analyses required by auditors (e.g. external, internal and statutory) are available and provided upon request and once approved by the Management.
5. Other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior/management.

Qualifications:

1. Education a. Graduate of 4 or 5-year accountancy course, CPA
2. Work Experience a. At least one (1) year work experience in the related field
3. Special Skills :a. A team-player with good interpersonal skills and strong commitment to transparency, fairness and integrity

1. Excellent time-management skills and can manage well work pressures
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. Capable of simultaneously handling multiple tasks, flexible and creative
4. Proficient in MS Office applications and working knowledge on SAP or Oracle
