Senior Systems Administrator Specialist

About the Role

You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

• Administer, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across

• Manage and maintain Red Hat Satellite infrastructure for system provisioning,

• Create and maintain scripts to automate the provisioning of new servers and automated patching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple deliverables with different stakeholders effectively
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong Linux system administration experience, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise

• Proven experience with Red Hat Satellite Administration (installation, configuration,

• Solid understanding of vulnerability management and patching processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical

• Exceptional ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage competing demands from different stakeholders
• Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience administering VMs in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• AIX Unix Administration experience
• Cisco ESX administration knowledge
• Power PC Administration experience
• Familiarity with Kubernetes container orchestration
• DevOps practices and methodologies (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
• Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, Azure Administrator, etc.)
