Transport Coordinator
About the Role
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring deliveries are made on time and in conformance with the standards of the clients of DP World Logistics Philippines Inc. Being able to plan and coordinate the deliveries of the containerized cargoes from one point to another.
Key Accountabilities
Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Implementation- Ensures availability and reliability of franchised trucks and chassis.
- Prepares the delivery schedule for the day.
- Updates the team on the accomplished deliveries.
- Ensures on time dispatching of trucks to deliver/position/transfer of containers.
- Accomplishes the trip monitoring forms.
- Monitors regularly the movement of the trucks and reports to Management of any unusual activities.
- Accomplishes the “Requisition Issuance Slip” for the fuel requirements of the franchised trucks and have it signed by the officers.
- Manages safety and ensures strict implementation of the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Policy and Security Management System within areas under his/her control.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Graduate of any four-year College degree
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, general cargo operations, custom bonded warehouse or similar industries
- With good communication skills
