About the role

KAYA RESTAURANT' is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Cebu, Central Visayas. As the HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR function and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing
  • Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process, including screening applications, scheduling interviews and coordinating new hire paperwork
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and payroll data
  • Providing administrative support to the HR team, such as preparing reports, handling employee inquiries, and coordinating training and development activities
  • Assisting with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Supporting the HR team in any other tasks or projects as required
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a similar HR Assistant or Administrative Assistant role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed
  • Familiarity with relevant HR laws and regulations in the Philippines.
