Key Responsibilities
  1. Legal Documentation & Drafting
  • Facilitate the review and preparation, as well as organize, legal documents such as contracts, memoranda, affidavits, demand letters, MOAs, and hospital policies.
  • Assist in drafting medico-legal reports and documentation related to hospital incidents, patient complaints, and legal inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate legal files and secure storage of sensitive documents.
  1. Contract Management
  • Maintain a contract registry and track contract deadlines, renewals, and compliance obligations.
  • Conduct initial review of vendor/service contracts under the guidance of the Legal Counsel.
  1. Medico-Legal Assistance
  • Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital departments to gather documentation needed for medico-legal cases.
  • Help manage incident reports, patient complaints, and medico-legal inquiries while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Assist the Legal Counsel during internal investigations or hearings.
  1. Regulatory & Compliance Support
  • Monitor and assist with compliance requirements from DOH, PhilHealth, FDA, PRC, LGUs, and other relevant government agencies.
  • Track permit renewals, licenses, and hospital accreditations to ensure timely submissions.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports, legal updates, and audit documentation.
  1. Coordination with Government and External Stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit legal forms, certifications, and supporting documents to courts, government agencies, or partner institutions.
  • Assist in responding to subpoenas, legal notices, or government queries.
  1. Administrative and Research Support
  • Conduct legal research on Philippine laws and regulations related to healthcare, employment, privacy, and hospital operations.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare minutes, and support administrative tasks related to legal matters.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/Legal Management, Political Science, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
  • Preferably with 1–3 years of legal or paralegal/legal administrative experience; experience in a hospital/healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Philippine healthcare regulations is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to understand legal documents and terminologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with (medical) professionals.
  • Recent bar passer is an advantage
