Role Overview
These roles will play a vital part in driving business growth, market penetration, and brand presence. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in the food or FMCG sector and be highly strategic, results-driven, and adept at building strong customer relationships.
Sales Manager – Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, including retailers, distributors, and foodservice partners
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet volume and revenue targets
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives or field staff
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Build long-term customer relationships and oversee account servicing
- Develop and implement trade marketing programs across modern and traditional trade
- Work closely with sales teams to align trade campaigns with business objectives
- Analyze sales and market data to identify growth opportunities and improve execution
- Manage trade budgets, promotional planning, and merchandising activities
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand visibility and retail performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales or trade marketing within the food, FMCG, or related industry
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid field-office setup
- Proven track record of hitting targets and growing market share
