As a Financial Compliance & Monitoring Officer, you will take ownership of statutory payments, regulatory monitoring, and expense oversight—helping the organization maintain strong financial discipline and full compliance with government requirements.This role works closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams to support reporting, audits, and continuous process improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage Government Remittances
Handle end-to-end processing of taxes, statutory contributions, and regulatory requirements, ensuring all payments are accurate and submitted on time. Keep current with evolving tax rules and government requirements to maintain full compliance.
Monitor Regulatory Changes
Stay informed on updates in laws, regulations, and industry standards. Share relevant insights with stakeholders and help ensure company practices remain aligned with both internal policies and external requirements.
Oversee Expenses and Cash Advances
Review employee expense reports for accuracy and completeness. Track and follow up on outstanding cash advances to ensure timely liquidation and proper documentation.
Support Financial Reporting & Audits
Maintain well-organized financial records related to compliance activities. Assist in preparing monthly and operational reports, and provide support during audits by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required
- At least 3 years of experience in financial compliance, statutory remittances, or similar roles
- Background in insurance and financial services is an advantage
- Working knowledge of accounting systems, ERP tools, government platforms, and MS Office
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and financial controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
