Responsible for delivering exceptional payroll and human resources administration support to all ISGroup and its subsidiaries. This role assists the Payroll Officer in supporting the monthly and fortnightly pay runs, and all associated administrative tasks.
In addition, the role will assist the Human Resources team with administrative and transactional human resources duties, including but not limited to, employee information audits, human resources reporting, maintenance of the payroll and human resources information system, creating and compiling documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and assistance with monthly and fortnightly payroll processing.
- Monitor, respond and action assigned payroll enquiries (through CRM – ticket board, email and phone) within expected timeframes and priorities.
- Update payroll information on relevant systems when required.
- Perform day-to-day transactional activities including but not limited to administration, documentation creation, template creation etc as required.
- Complete data entry and information audits as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the human resources information system (HRIS).
- Complete assigned onboarding and offboarding responsibilities.
- Maintain server folders and complete filing and record keeping activities.
- Ensure work is performed to an outstanding level of accuracy at all times.
- Act in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
- Comply with health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures.
- Qualification in Payroll, Finance, Human Resources or other relevant qualification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated payroll and administration experience including experience in the interpretation of employment legislation, awards and industrial instruments.
- Previous experience in payroll, finance or human resources.
- Experience with Definitiv payroll system.
- Experience with Pulse human resource information system (HRIS).
- High level knowledge and understanding of payroll processing and associated activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in liaising with employees at all level and other third parties.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
