Accounts Payable Associate
About the role
Asticom Technology Inc' is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team on a contract basis in our Makati City, Metro Manila office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and maintaining meticulous financial records.
What you'll be doing- Process vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and statements with the general ledger
- Liaise with vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with the preparation of various accounts payable reports and financial statements
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of financial information
- Experienced in accounts payable or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with accounts payable best practices and relevant accounting principles
