Summary of the Role

The HR Business Partner (L&D) drives strategic learning and development initiatives while serving as a full-cycle HR partner to an assigned department. This role bridges talent development and business performance — designing training programs, consulting with department leaders on skill gaps, and owning the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a data-driven approach to measuring L&D impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic L&D Ownership: Design, implement, and evaluate end-to-end learning programs that align with company-wide growth targets across all departments
  • Performance Consulting: Act as a strategic partner to department leaders by identifying performance bottlenecks, analyzing skill gaps, and delivering targeted training solutions
  • Full Lifecycle HRBP Management: Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding) for your assigned department, collaborating with the Head of HR on organizational development, employee engagement, and talent retention strategies
  • Quality & Performance Assurance: Partner with department team leaders to monitor the performance output of new hires, ensuring all endorsed candidates transition smoothly into high-performing contributors
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Track the effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives; deliver timely reports on departmental performance, skill-gap closure, and target alignment to the Head of HR and executive leadership (COO)
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine onboarding blueprints, coaching frameworks, and development documentation to ensure corporate scalability and high-quality output
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, L&D Specialist, or in a related strategic HR role
  • Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate training programs and measure their business impact
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience tracking KPIs and ROI on people initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to consult and influence department leaders
  • Solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in organizational development or talent management
  • Experience building onboarding frameworks or coaching programs in a scaling company
