About the role
Green Mango Technology Corp. is seeking an experienced Collection Team Leader to oversee and manage our collections team. As the Collection Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of collection specialists, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the recovery of outstanding payments.This is a full-time role based in our Ortigas, Pasig City office in Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Manage and direct a team of collection specialists to achieve collection targets and key performance indicators
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies and processes to optimise recovery rates
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Liaise with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall collections processes and procedures
- Prepare and analyse collection reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional development
- Minimum 5 years of experience in collections or customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving collection targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations with customers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and analytically
- Proficient in using various collection management tools and software
- Detailed understanding of collections-related laws, regulations and best practices
- Exceptional customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
