COMPANY NURSE
The position is responsible for promoting employee health and well-being in the workplace. This role involves providing medical assistance, managing health programs, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
The Nurse will also support employees with health concerns, conduct health assessments, and ensure emergency preparedness in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities: Health Assessments and Medical Care
Conduct health assessments and provide first aid and emergency care as needed.Maintain accurate medical records for employees, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Health Education and PromotionDevelop and implement health education programs on topics such as nutrition, stress management, and preventive care.
Promote wellness initiatives and encourage healthy lifestyles among employees, including physical activity and mental health awareness.
Occupational Health and SafetyMonitor workplace health and safety conditions, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations and standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement health and safety protocols in collaboration with safety teams.
Ensure proper ergonomics and reduce workplace health risks.
Employee Support
Provide confidential support to employees regarding health concerns, including workplace-related issues and general well-being.Coordinate referrals to external health professionals when necessary and follow up on employee progress.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring readiness in the case of health-related incidents or emergencies.Conduct regular first aid training and ensure that medical supplies and first aid kits are fully stocked and up to date.
Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Licensing: Valid nursing license.
Experience: Previous experience in occupational health, public health, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health regulations, workplace safety practices, and emergency response protocols.Ability to manage confidential health information with discretion and professionalism.
Certifications (Preferred): Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Certification.
Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification.
