The Supply Chain Supervisor has a vital role in overseeing the operations and processes of the supply chain in the organization. S/he is responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
S/he is accountable for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of products or services from the supplier to the internal customers.
The incumbent oversees the entire supply chain management group’s activities and budget, which include, Logistics (storeroom and/or central supplies room) Inventory Planning and Procurement team. S/He aligns and improves the culture of the supply chain management group and organizes its structure to support the Medical Mall core purpose.Furthermore, S/he will be the assigned approver in terms of purchases with close working collaboration with accounts payable group to ensure smooth flow payment processing. S/he ensures all procurement transactions are aligned with the organization’s business direction.
Additionally, S/he will also be in-charge of the financial and negotiated targets, innovation, and continuous improvement for timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. S/he creates, reviews, updates policies and procedures, and identifies opportunities for streamlining activities to meet materials distribution needs of the operations and other departments.S/He also ensures compliance with all institutional, local, and national facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications- A Bachelor’s degree holder in Business, Healthcare, Supply Management, or any other related field.
- With Masters in Management major in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or any other business related masters course is of great advantage.
- With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience with leadership role in management of materials / procurement / supply chain within a healthcare environment
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and demonstrate very good presentation skills.
- Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage.
