About the role
Watsons is looking for an Assistant, Accounts Receivable to join our accounting team. This full-time position is based in our Pasay City, Metro Manila office. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and payments.
What you'll be doing- Daily Analysis of Accounts Receivable Transactions
- Timely preparation of billings excluding corporate account
- Analysis and comparison of Bank Statement vs. Payment File
- Timely follow up and collection of all billings including corporate accounts
- Analysis and encoding of BIR 2307 in IVES platform
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and collection issues
- Maintain and update accounting systems and databases and prepare reports
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance/accounting role
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and procedures
