Warehouseman

Job Description, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, equipment, and supplies related to bored pile operations.
• Organize and maintain an accurate inventory of items in the warehouse, utilizing inventory management systems if applicable.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and recorded inventory.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of materials and equipment in the warehouse.
• Allocate storage space efficiently to optimize utilization and ease of access.
• Implement labeling systems and maintain clear identification of items to facilitate easy retrieval.
• Adhere to proper lifting and handling techniques to prevent damage to materials and ensure personal safety.
• Assist with the transportation and distribution of materials to the appropriate project sites or departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including quantities, specifications, and condition.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and procurement teams to provide timely updates on inventory status and needs.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Implement measures to prevent loss, theft, or damage to materials and equipment under the warehouse's responsibility.

Job Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional vocational or technical training in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
• With at least 2 years of experience as warehouseman in drilling operations related to the specific field or industry, such as oil and gas, geotechnical drilling, or mining, is highly valued.
• Understanding of construction materials commonly used in bored pile operations, such as steel reinforcement bars (rebar), concrete, cement, aggregates, and other related materials.
• Familiarity with the storage, handling, and transportation requirements for these materials to ensure their quality and integrity.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, material handling, and storage techniques.
