About the role
FAXCABLE INC.' is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our dynamic accounting team. This full-time role is based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function.
What you'll be doing- Processing and verifying invoices, expense reports and other payables
- Ensuring timely and accurate payment of approved invoices
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all transactions
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
- Processing tax invoices, making timely payments, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Track tax payments, organize tax account statements, and may assist with tax filing
- Identifying process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounts payable function
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 6 month of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
- Preferably knowledgeable in government tax compliances
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications; bonus if knowledgeable in using NetSuite and Odoo
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
