This role is responsible for managing procurement activities, maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and aligning purchasing strategies with demand forecasts to support the company's operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Purchasing Operations

o Source and purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.

o Negotiate contracts and supplier agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

o Create and manage purchase orders within NetSuite and monitor order status until delivery and invoicing are completed.

o Ensure timely and accurate documentation of purchasing activities.
  • Demand Planning & Inventory Management

o Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production teams to forecast demand and create purchasing plans aligned with sales targets and inventory turnover goals.

o Analyze historical data and market trends to optimize stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.

o Implement data-driven inventory control methods to improve efficiency and reduce carrying costs.

o Monitor SKU performance and lead times to inform procurement strategy.
  • Supplier Management

o Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

o Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance metrics.

o Coordinate supplier audits and assist in vendor qualification processes.
  • NetSuite System Management

o Enter and track purchasing data using NetSuite ERP.

o Ensure accurate item setup, vendor records, and transaction reporting.

o Generate purchasing and inventory reports for internal analysis and audit purposes.
  • Compliance & Cost Control

o Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, and company SOPs.

o Monitor budgets, identify variances, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory forecasting, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is highly preferred, experience with import and export
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools; knowledge of forecasting software a plus.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
