We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our boutique clients—a highly experienced mortgage broking firm based in Victoria, Australia, with over 15 years in the industry. The firm is known for delivering strategic lending solutions and consistently achieving exceptional client outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced Australian brokers, gaining exposure to a diverse range of lending scenarios including PAYG, self-employed, SMSF, and trust structures. You will be an integral part of the loan process, contributing to high-quality submissions and seamless transactions.
Role and Responsibilities
As a key person to success of the team, you will be utilizing your credit analysis, organisational, communication and relationship management skills daily, including your industry knowledge and ensuring all transactions are seamless, as well as delivering exceptional customer service outcomes.
- Collaborate with brokers to analyse client financial information and structure loan applications
- Assist to calculate client’s borrowing capacity from different lenders
- Provide expert guidance on lender policies to ensure compliance and optimal loan structuring
- Prepare comprehensive credit submissions for a variety of lending scenarios, including PAYG, self-employed, SMSF and trust structures
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify financial details
- Liaise with lenders to meet lending guidelines and requirements, to ensure successful client outcomes
- Review applications for compliance with lending criteria and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, lending products, and regulatory changes
- Minimum 3 years’ loan writing experience (essential) within the AU mortgage industry
- Strong understanding of lender policies, credit assessment, and loan structuring
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with bank BDMs and credit managers
- Proficient in MYCRM systems and financial analysis tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Stable internet connection with backup (minimum 100 Mbps)
- Work with a reputable Australian mortgage broking firm
