Credit analyst

Job Description

• Perform credit analysis, including review of financial statements, ratios, cash flow, and loan decisions.
• Evaluate clients’ credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in lending.
• Prepare detailed reports on creditworthiness and risk exposure for management review.
• Analyze client records and recommend appropriate payment plans or loan structures.
• Confer with credit associations, references, and external partners to exchange credit information on clients.
• Monitor approved accounts and identify early warning signs of delinquency.
• Ensure compliance with PGFC’s credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide recommendations to management regarding credit approvals, rejections, or modifications.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP guidelines, AMLA compliance).
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
