About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bidding Assistant to join our team at Apollo World Class Furniture in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our sales and procurement teams, ensuring timely and successful bidding for new furniture contracts.As the Bidding Assistant, you will play a key part in Apollo's continued growth and expansion within the retail furniture industry.
What you'll be doing- Researching and identifying potential bidding opportunities from public and private sources
- Preparing and submitting high-quality bid proposals that meet all requirements
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and data for bids
- Tracking the status of bids and following up with clients as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all bidding activities
- Providing administrative support to the sales and procurement teams as required
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar bidding, sales support or procurement role, ideally within the retail or furniture industry
- Excellent research, written communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Enthusiastic team player with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Knowledge of furniture products and the retail industry would be advantageous
