Role Overview

As a Team Leader – Sales Development Representative, you will lead a high-performing team of SDRs focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline development for our Account Executives. You’ll guide strategy, coach your team, and ensure performance metrics are met while also contributing hands-on to outbound outreach.

This role plays a vital part in driving top-of-funnel growth and setting the tone for impactful customer conversations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of SDRs to exceed individual and team KPIs in lead generation and qualified meeting bookings.
  • Oversee daily outbound prospecting efforts using LinkedIn, email, and phone targeting logistics companies, freight brokers, and shippers.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, outreach activity, and CRM hygiene; ensure accurate and up-to-date lead tracking in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate closely with AEs, Marketing, and Sales Ops to refine messaging, targeting, and conversion strategies.
  • Analyze outreach performance and implement data-driven improvements to increase team productivity and conversion rates.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of new SDRs.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, motivation, and excellence across the SDR team.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as an SDR or in a sales development role, ideally with 1+ year in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through outbound efforts.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in written English, for email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, and ZoomInfo.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment with a "hunter" sales mentality.
  • Highly coachable, organized, and motivated by performance-based goals and growth opportunities.
  • Background in B2B sales or logistics is a strong plus.
