HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (DUMP TRUCK/BACKHOE)

Job Description:

Responsible for safety and efficiently operating various types of heavy machinery to perform tasks such as excavations, grading and loading materials in construction
Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to works effectively as part of the team
Responsible to operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators and cranes in a safe and efficient manner
Responsible to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning, and identify any issues that need repair
Responsible to monitor equipment operations to detect any malfunctions or safety hazards and take appropriate corrective actions
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure project goals are met
Complete required documentation such as equipment logs, inspection reports and work orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

High School/ College Level with Vocational Course (Tesda Accredited)
Written and Verbal Communication Skills
2 to 5 years work related experience
Strong Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Certificate or training in heavy equipment operation preferred
Work extended days/ weekends if needed
With strong technical and problem solving skills.
