Your Role:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to provide shift support for the production process, ensuring smooth operations and consistent quality and performance. The role involves performing routine checks in the assigned process area to maintain consistent process performance.
The Manufacturing Technician will also provide extensive engineering support to continuously improve existing qualified processes and equipment, as well as validated manufacturing procedures. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the qualification of new equipment and processes, and ensuring efficient and effective process control guidelines, such as Standard Work, OCAP, and Control Plans, are in place.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitors and ensures that equipment setup and process parameters conform to defined specifications. Coordinates with Maintenance or Manufacturing Engineers to correct any out-of-specification conditions.
- Monitors analytical parameters of coating chemicals and soap conductivity to ensure they are within specification.
- Releases shift reports that include yield, machine and process issues, and other important activities performed per line.
- Performs basic troubleshooting of processes and process equipment.
- Sets up and buys off processes/equipment after maintenance activities such as machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Verifies proper startup and shutdown of machines.
- Technology courses, preferably in Chemical Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Manufacturing or Process Technician in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in operations and maintenance of production processes.
- Skilled in using computer applications, including office software.
- Strong command of spoken and written English, with experience in creating technical reports.
- Knowledge of basic problem-solving techniques, such as the 7QC Tools.
