Job Description

Job Specific Title: Design & Tooling Technician Leader

1. Take instructions from the manager and follow them.
2. Assign personnel to perform pre-production maintenance of molds according to production tasks. And be responsible for the placement and deployment of departmental staff.
3. For molds undergoing maintenance, evaluate and formulate maintenance plans and arrange personnel to implement them.
4. Be responsible for monitoring the progress and quality control of molds during maintenance.
5. Organize regular department meetings, and train, educate, and guide subordinates to improve their skills and instill a sense of job responsibility.
6. Be responsible for the maintenance and proper storage of molds in the maintenance area.
7. Be responsible for the management of mold perishable parts and maintain an updated “Mold Perishable Parts List.”
8. Perform other tasks assigned by superiors.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Tool & Die Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
• Professional License: Not required
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mold maintenance, tooling, or manufacturing environment.
• Skills/Training: Proficient in mold setup, machine adjustment, and basic maintenance, with strong understanding of plastic resins, technical documentation, safety practices, and physically capable of handling tools and molds.
