Position title: HEAD, OPERATIONS READINESS FOR WIND

Job Description:

• Provide overall leadership, direction, and supervision of the operational readiness function (OR) at ACEN.
• Further develop and operationalize ACEN’s OR Framework and business system.
• Develop the OR plan, budget, and schedule for each new project development in various technologies predominantly wind, solar and BESS.
• Ensure that there is appropriate interaction between various business functions at appropriate times of the project.
• Provide assurance that all required operational readiness activities are completed prior to proceeding to the following project phase.
• Report on the progress of OR for each project.
• Evaluate and implement Business Improvement Process ideas, alternative approaches, and lessons learned.
• Share and seek out knowledge, best practice, and resources across ACEN through site visits, training, and collaborative forums.
• Assist in developing a safety culture that is consistent across all stakeholder groups, ensuring that all work undertaken in areas of responsibility comply with existing safety legislation and is in full compliance with applicable HSE standards.
• Ensure the safety of all team members and that risks are identified, mitigated, and managed.
• Facilitate relationships between the key stakeholders in the various business functions to ensure an alignment of each other’s required outcomes.
• Work on the integration of operating plants into asset management software.
• Offer technical expertise on renewable plants for partners or plants under development.

• Diploma in Electrical Power Generation Plant Operations is preferred.
• With Over 10 years’ experience in the international infrastructure sector preferably in global project management as well as operations and maintenance.
• Proven global experience in developing operational readiness plan, budget and schedule for each new project development in various technologies predominantly wind, solar and BESS.
• With expertise in implementation of advanced engineering technologies to optimize operations.

Duration of Employment: Two (2) years
