Cashier

As a Cashier, you will be at the heart of the shopping experience, ensuring seamless transactions while providing top-tier customer service. Your role involves handling payments, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers, answer their questions, and assist them in locating items.
• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronic systems.
• Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Process payments, ensuring accurate pricing and quantities while providing receipts.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally.
• Bag or wrap purchases securely to maintain item safety.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and efficient.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or cashier experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Strong customer service skills with a high level of energy.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving customer concerns.
