We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Paralegal to support our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing corporate governance, compliance matters, and transactional documentation, ensuring that our legal operations run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including contracts, memo and other documents, ensuring that Labor Law and DOLE regulations are being followed.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with the drafting of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Support the HR team in monitoring regulatory changes and updating internal policies accordingly.
  • Maintain and organize corporate records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other departments to provide legal support and guidance on various corporate matters.
  • Assist in due diligence for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing activities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and governance.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Experience with corporate governance software and electronic filing systems.
  • Certification from a recognized paralegal association (e.g., NALA, NFPA).
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and document automation tools.

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and corporate filings.
