Global Forwarding Pricing Supervisor

The Global Forwarding Pricing Supervisor leads the pricing team in delivering competitive, profitable solutions for international and domestic logistics services. This role ensures accurate quotations, cost analysis, and market intelligence across air, ocean, and multimodal transport, supporting Sales, Operations, and Procurement to drive business growth.

• Lead and mentor the pricing team, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery of quotations.
• Allocate workload effectively and monitor team performance against KPIs.
• Provide training and guidance on pricing tools, market analysis, and negotiation strategies.
• Oversee preparation of quotations for air freight, ocean freight, trucking, and end-to-end logistics services.
• Ensure pricing responses to RFQs, tenders, and customer requests are accurate, competitive, and submitted within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with the Business Solutions and Operations Department to design customer-centric pricing solutions.
• Analyze costs, margins, and market trends to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, and suppliers to secure favorable rates.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, rate sheets, and tender center activities.
• Partner with Procurement to optimize carrier contracts and supplier agreements.
• Work closely with Sales teams to support business growth through strategic pricing.
• Collaborate with Operations on door-to-door pricing solutions for complex customer requirements.
• Manage end-to-end pricing and cost-related data projects, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
• Provide insights and suggestions to enhance pricing strategies and operational efficiency.
• Assist in problem-solving and provide guidance on pricing and procurement challenges.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics pricing, or procurement.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of air, ocean, and multimodal freight markets.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in pricing tools, databases, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
