Product Control Assistant Manager – Middle Office GMO (Rates Trading)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Asst Manager– Product Control (Rates), Mid-Level

to join our Global Markets Operations team. This role focuses on accurate trade validation of OTC derivative products, ensuring timely amendments, and running key controls to maintain data integrity. You will work closely with Front Office, regional back offices, and finance teams to support daily operations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate trades booked in Front Office systems against recaps.
• Validate futures contracts and ensure timely clearing.
• Report, comment, and validate exceptions during trade validation.
• Escalate mismatches promptly to management and Front Office.
• Participate in global and local projects related to process improvements and system migrations.
• Propose initiatives to enhance team productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/CFA preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in banking and finance, with strong knowledge of rates derivatives and trade validation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Suite tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
• Analytical mindset, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
