Objective (Purpose of the Job)

The Senior HR Data Analyst shall be responsible for organizing, managing and optimizing Human Resources data. The role shall handle big data and includes performing data analysis, data migration, data migration governance, and ensuring data quality and integrity across various reporting and analytics requirements by HR.

HR Data Analyst is capable to provide recommendations and strategies that will support the preparation and migration of HR data to the new platform/system. This position will collaborate with Project Managers and Project Leads to ensure completion of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and validate the migration of HR data from legacy systems to the new HCM platform.
  • Analyze, cleanse and test data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and execute data migration scripts and tools.
  • Identify and resolve data migration issues and discrepancies.
  • Document data migration processes and procedures.
  • Perform data reconciliation and validation post-migration.
  • Using data visualization tools for reporting
  • Creating data dictionary, data/entity relationship diagrams and data analysis with regards to the data structure hierarchy, validations and usage

Need-to-Have Areas:

Industry Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science or Information Technology
  • At least 5 years experience with Business Intelligence, Data Science, Analytics With at least 3 years’ experience working with HR data

Technical Skills:

  • Data modeling based on complex data sets Dashboard creation
  • Knowledgeable in SQL, JavaScript and Python
  • Familiarity in ETL and data wrangling concepts
  • Ability to use Data Visualization (ex: Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and Database Management Tools (ex: Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
