QA Tester (Hybrid / Day Shift)

Reports to: QA Lead / Engineering Manager

Job Description – QA Tester

Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of software solutions used by a broad user base.

• Conduct exploratory and functional testing to identify issues and ensure software meets quality standards.
• Prepare detailed and structured test cases and scenarios, including test data, conditions, and expected outcomes.
• Execute manual tests for new features, as well as regression tests on existing functionality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other team members across various locations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by verifying issues, preparing test reports, and assisting stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• At least 6 months of experience in software testing.
• Experience preparing and documenting test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA field.

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of programming concepts.
• Exposure to test automation and performance testing.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Previous experience testing eCommerce platforms or customer-facing applications.
