Senior Manufacturing Director (1 Vacancy)

Job Description:

• Achieves the department’s goals consistently while managing the production’s costs and expenses without sacrificing quality and efficiency.
• Assures that the department operates in compliance with the company’s rules and policies.
• Develops and executes strategic plans that would benefit the production of the company.
• Achieve financial targets through efficient management of manufacturing activities for warehouse — sewing, cutting, quality to finishing.
• Execute product development strategies for improving cost position and product performance.
• Seek and develop long-term operational and product development strategies to optimize and sustain manufacturing process which would include, but not limited to, the ongoing operation of reliable supply of raw materials, maintenance that effectively supports all departments, safe procedures and operating behaviors for manufacturing activities, and optimization of reliability initiatives throughout the facility.
• Analyzes plant and department budgets and allocates operating and capital expense budgets.
• Accountable for improving productivity through engineering changes, resource allocation, and performance management. Ensures changes required for efficient manufacturing of all products are implemented in both a timely and effective manner.
• Responsible for all production operations in compliance with company quality and environmental standards, and all other duties that impact product safety, legality, and quality systems

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualification (Education, Experience, Professional License, Skills Certification, Specialized Training):

• Degree in Engineering majoring in Industrial, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• With at least 7 to 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes preferably in the apparel industry.
• Keen to details, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to handle multiple competing priorities, and a strong customer focus.
• Ability to identify critical paths and execute.
• Understands operations and process flow related to the construction of a garment (e.g. fabric inspection, cutting, heat transfer, sewing, finishing, and shipping).
• Basic technical understanding of the sewing construction of apparel products.
• Must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga.
