Position Overview
E-Teleconnect is seeking a high-performance Outbound Sales Team Leader to manage and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) supporting a complex B2B technology and EdTech outbound campaign.
This role requires a strategic floor leader capable of driving outbound sales performance in a high-rejection, executive-facing environment. The ideal candidate must possess advanced coaching ability, operational discipline, emotional intelligence, and strong analytical capabilities.
The Team Leader will oversee daily outbound operations, agent productivity, conversion performance, quality assurance, coaching, morale management, and KPI execution while ensuring the team consistently delivers qualified appointments to the client pipeline.
This is not a traditional call center supervisory role. The campaign requires consultative outbound engagement with institutional and executive-level prospects, meaning the Team Leader must understand sophisticated B2B sales conversations and coach agents beyond basic script compliance.
Core Responsibilities
Team Performance Management
Lead and manage a team of outbound SDRs and appointment setters
Drive daily KPI achievement across call volume, talk time, conversions, and appointment quality Monitor agent productivity, schedule adherence, and operational discipline
Maintain accountability through performance tracking and coaching
Live Coaching & Development
Conduct real-time call monitoring and side-by-side coaching
Deliver daily huddles, roleplay sessions, and objection-handling workshops
Improve agent conversational agility and executive-level communication
Coach agents on discovery-based selling and consultative outreach
Quality Assurance & Conversion Optimization
Analyze call recordings and identify conversion barriers
Optimize scripts, rebuttals, call openings, and qualifying questions
Improve lead-to-qualified appointment ratios
Ensure consistency in CRM documentation and follow-up execution
Campaign Analytics & Reporting
Monitor dialer metrics, occupancy rates, penetration ratios, and conversion trends Identify performance bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
Recommend data strategy improvements and targeting adjustments
Morale & Leadership
Maintain positive team culture in a high-rejection outbound environment
Recognize burnout indicators and morale decline early
Motivate underperforming agents constructively
Create a performance-driven but psychologically stable environment
Required Experience & Qualifications- Must have at least 5 years of working experience leading an outbound sales team and documented results.
- Strong coaching ability - Can modify his/her style of communication and messaging that can resonate with the agents and effect resolution
- High emotional intelligence: Can empathize with agents, recognize frustration and mood of agents and adjust accordingly.
- Has Strong Analytical Skills - Can analyze metrics, contact rates, appointment quality to identify performance gaps.
- Excellent communication skills - Must be able to communicate with precision both to agents and clients.
