Position Summary:

The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf operations department to ensure an exceptional experience for

members and guests. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring the maintenance of the golf course and equipment, and delivering outstanding customer service. The Golf Operations Manager will work closely with other departments to promote and enhance the

reputation of the golf club.

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, consistently enhancing the overall guest experience. Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Comprehensive Golf Course Operations Management: Oversee and optimize the smooth functioning of daily golf course operations, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain efficient and effective operations.
  • Advanced Equipment and Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of golf equipment and facilities, ensuring their proper upkeep and functionality. Collaborate with the superintendent to ensure the golf course and practice facilities are in top condition.
  • Proactive Guest Support and Engagement: Provide comprehensive support to golf course guests, promptly addressing their needs and inquiries. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons.
  • Strategic Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and develop the golf operations team, promoting a culture of professionalism, excellence, and customer focus. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Efficient Scheduling and Delegation: Efficiently delegate duties and responsibilities among staff, optimizing manpower scheduling to ensure smooth operations. Monitor staff performance and adjust as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Effective Problem Resolution: Handle and resolve any issues or challenges that arise within the golf operations department, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Implement proactive measures to prevent recurring problems and improve overall operations.
  • Maintaining Discipline and High Morale: Ensure discipline and promote high morale among departmental staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Address any personnel issues promptly and fairly.
  • Comprehensive Tournament and Event Organization: Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of golf tournaments and events from inception to completion. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful event management and guest satisfaction.
