FIELD ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Engineer to oversee provisioning, installation, activation, maintenance, and restoration activities across the assigned service area. This role ensures field operations are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with company standards and service level agreements (SLAs) while maintaining reliable network performance and excellent customer service.

• Supervise field activities related to network provisioning, installation, activation, maintenance, and service restoration.
• Coordinate with Field Service Management (FSM), Network Operations Center (NOC), contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead field troubleshooting, incident response, and restoration activities to minimize service disruptions.
• Conduct routine site inspections to assess network conditions, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor fiber repair activities, maintain service quality, and prepare field operation reports and documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in telecommunications, field operations, network maintenance, installation, or service restoration.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, network troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and restoration processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Familiarity with NOC operations, OTDR testing, incident management, and workforce or ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE) or relevant telecommunications certifications are a plus.
