About the role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Retail Distribution Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient distribution and logistics operations for AALIYAH DELICATESSEN AND COLD STORAGE INC.'s retail network across Makati City and Metro Manila.This full-time position will be based in Makati City.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate and manage the timely delivery of products from the central warehouse to all retail locations
- Optimise distribution routes and scheduling to ensure cost-effective and reliable transport of goods
- Monitor inventory levels at retail stores and work with the procurement team to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Identify opportunities to improve distribution efficiencies and implement process improvements
- Liaise with retail store managers to address any distribution or logistics issues
- Prepare and analyse performance reports on distribution activities
- Ensure all distribution activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and company policies
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail distribution or logistics role, ideally within the food and beverage industry
- Strong working knowledge of distribution planning, inventory management and transportation logistics
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different functions
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing food distribution and logistics
