WFH Multi-Brand Shopify SEO Strategist & Content Architect

Overview

Elevate the digital presence of multiple e-commerce brands by driving organic growth and search visibility across diverse Shopify stores. This role is perfect for a technical SEO expert who excels at bridging the gap between keyword intent and high-converting product discovery.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PST

• Conduct keyword research for product pages, collection pages, blog posts, landing pages, and category-level opportunities.
• Optimize Shopify product pages, collection pages, blogs, and landing pages for SEO and conversions.
• Improve page titles, meta descriptions, H1s, H2s, product descriptions, internal links, image alt text, URLs, and structured content.
• Identify content opportunities based on search intent, buyer journey stage, product demand, competitor gaps, and keyword trends.
• Create SEO content briefs for blog posts, product guides, collection pages, and landing pages.
• Review existing content for keyword targeting, search intent, readability, EEAT, and conversion value.
• Support technical SEO improvements on Shopify, including crawlability, indexation, duplicate content, canonical tags, sitemap issues, redirects, broken links, site speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Improve internal linking between products, collections, blogs, buying guides, and related pages.
• Recommend schema opportunities for products, FAQs, breadcrumbs, articles, reviews, organization details, and other relevant page types.
• Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, and SEO tools.
• Track rankings, clicks, impressions, organic traffic, product page performance, and conversions.
• Prepare clear SEO reports with completed work, insights, opportunities, and next steps.
• Stay current on Shopify SEO best practices, e-commerce SEO trends, Google updates, AI search visibility, and structured data best practices.

• 2+ years of SEO experience, preferably with Shopify or e-commerce websites.
• Hands-on experience optimizing Shopify stores.
• Strong understanding of product page SEO, collection page SEO, blog SEO, and internal linking.
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, Moz, or similar.
• Ability to conduct keyword research based on search intent, demand, and buyer journey stage.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO basics, including indexing, redirects, canonicals, duplicate content, structured data, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Strong writing and editing skills for SEO titles, descriptions, product copy, collection copy, and content briefs.
• Ability to create actionable SEO recommendations for content, design, and development teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage SEO work across multiple websites.
