 I.  Job Summary

The Store Marketing Assistant is responsible for organizing and executing marketing initiatives at the store level, both inside and outside the supermarket. The role will ensure proper alignment of activities and activations with the guidelines set by Head Office Marketing.

II. Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Marketing Execution
  • Assist in the implementation of in-store marketing campaigns and activation of seasonal promotions
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays (standard & special), signages, and point-of-sale materials in coordination with Department Supervisors
  • Ensure all marketing materials are current, accurate, and aligned with set guidelines
  • Coordinate with mall tenants for all tie-ups
  1. Outdoor Marketing
  • Lead the distribution of mailers, flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials within target communities, schools, offices, and public areas
  • Organize the installation of outdoor marketing collaterals
  • Monitor and ensure all collaterals are up-to-date and not expired (including but not limited to mall/store façade, banners & lamp posts)
  • Secure permits for all outdoor marketing as necessary
  1. Local Store Marketing
  • Execute local store marketing activities in close coordination with Head Office Marketing
  • Study trends and customer profiles of the community and identify opportunities for business building
  • Coordinate with local partners, barangays, and community organizations for all local marketing efforts
  1. Third-party Management
  • Monitor and ensure MSA labels are accurate and updated
  • Coordinate with Head Office Merchandising and Marketing Departments for promotional activities and sampling events
  1. Administration and Support
  • Utilize the Marketing Operations Daily Report (MODR) daily and record results accordingly
  • Monitor identified marketing metrics and discuss with store stakeholders
  • Prepare and compile marketing reports
  • Manage the in-store redemption process of premiums
  • Monitor premiums and ensure zero expired consumable items
  • Track the inventory of marketing materials and coordinate replenishment as needed
  • Ensure all fixtures that need maintenance, or repairs are properly coordinated with the Operations Support Assistant
  • Support social and digital marketing efforts
