About the role
Bayanihan Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be based in our office in General Trias City, Cavite. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, analysis, and construction of various civil and structural engineering projects.
What you'll be doing- Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Review and evaluate design proposals from consultants and contractors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction managers, and project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance during construction
- Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, project reports, and tender documents
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in the design and construction of buildings, and other civil infrastructure projects
- Proficient in the use of structural design software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or a member of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) is preferred
