The role will also involve analyzing key performance metrics and using data to guide decision-making and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular performance reports and KPIs to leadership, highlighting areas for action and improvement.
- Track the progress of improvement initiatives and measure the impact of changes.
Project Management:
- Coordinate and manage operational improvement projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that projects stay on track.
- Work with teams to resolve any issues or roadblocks during the project timeline.
Training & Support:
- Provide training and support to staff on new processes, tools, and systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting process excellence within teams.
Change Management:
- Facilitate smooth transitions when changes in processes or systems are introduced.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in for new initiatives.
- Ensure that any changes comply with company standards and regulations.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with department leaders to understand operational challenges and priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure alignment on goals and improvements.
- Actively participate in meetings and discussions related to operations and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and project management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with change management and managing organizational transformation.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
