Finance officer

Job Description

Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities of the finance team

Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
