Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Purpose
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software integration and deployment. This role involves building and releasing new solutions, automating workflows, and monitoring software builds to ensure efficient and reliable delivery.You will collaborate with globally distributed teams across Development, QA, and Operations to optimize processes and maintain high system availability.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain code that integrates various applications within the build pipeline
- Engineer, implement, and release new DevOps solutions and enhancements
- Design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Monitor and maintain software builds to ensure stability and performance
- Support globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
- Track and manage issues, resolutions, and fixes throughout the release lifecycle
- Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of build and release procedures to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure releases meet organizational standards
- Coordinate build schedules across Development, Database, QA, and Operations teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure build and deployment processes align with business requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant DevOps or related experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Maven, and Git
- Experience with Kubernetes is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in database technologies such as Oracle and SQL
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Angular
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments, shell scripting, and Python
- Excellent time management skills with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with multiple operating systems, web technologies, and testing environments
- Exposure to enterprise-level or globally distributed systems
- Open to shifting schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evening on-call support (as needed)
- At least two (2) years of college or university education, or equivalent practical experience
