Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in preparing Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Consolidated Financial Statements. Additional responsibilities include preparing and monitoring Budgets, Forecasts, Actual vs.Budget Variance Analysis, and Cash Flow reports. The candidate will also review daily financial transactions related to Accounts Payable and Receivable, bank reconciliations, and prepare amortization, depreciation, and intercompany schedules, along with other financial reports as required by and under the direction of the Client.
This role requires strong financial analysis skills, including expertise in financial statement analytics, general ledger and trial balance review, and month-end/year-end closing procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA or ACCA Accreditation
- At least 3 years work experience as an Assistant Financial Controller or of equivalent role. Knowledge of preparing Consolidated Financial Statement and Audit experience is a plus.
- Solid accounting background and excellent attention to details
- Capable of creating and analyzing monthly financial statements and preparing schedules for Financial Controller’s review.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- A team player and has a strong work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Excellent computer and related skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Ability to research accounting reporting standards under US GAAP and IFRS.
