About the Role

The Production Planning and Process Improvement Manager plays a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of food production operations at The Moment Group. This role combines strategic planning with operational excellence—responsible for forecasting demand, developing efficient production schedules, and driving process improvements that reduce costs, improve yield, and enhance overall efficiency.

By leading initiatives that strengthen kitchen and commissary operations, this position ensures consistent quality, timely fulfillment, and scalable systems that support TMG’s multi-brand restaurant portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and optimize production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and operational capacity.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to align raw material availability with production requirements.
  • Monitor production performance against schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce spoilage, and streamline workflows in both commissary and restaurant production setups.
  • Introduce and implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and digital tools to forecast demand, track KPIs, and optimize production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality Assurance, R&D) to support product launches and ensure smooth integration into production workflows.
  • Mentor and guide production staff on planning practices and continuous improvement methods.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in production planning, process improvement, or operations management, preferably in the food & beverage or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, workflow design, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proven experience leading process optimization projects that improved efficiency, reduced costs, or increased scalability.
  • Familiarity with HACCP standards, food safety protocols, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
  • Proficiency in digital planning tools, ERP systems, or production management software is a strong advantage.
