Sales Team Lead

Purple Cow is a Cebu City IT Park based outsourcing company. We are building a dedicated team for an insurance client, and we are hiring now.
About the role
You will lead a team of insurance sales agents in our Cebu office. Your agents call people in the United States, build their interest in burial and end-of-life insurance, and pass a live transfer to a licensed United States agent who closes the sale.Your job is to lead that team every shift, coach each agent, and help the team reach its targets for good transfers.
What you will do- Lead a team of sales agents on the floor each shift.
- Coach agents one-on-one to improve their calls and their transfers.
- Listen to calls, give clear feedback, and help each agent get better.
- Keep the team on script and following the call process.
- Set the pace and the mood on the floor, and keep the team motivate
- Watch the daily numbers, such as calls made and good transfers, and help the team reach its targets.
- Help new agents settle in and learn the job.
- Handle attendance, timekeeping, and small day-to-day problems.
- Work closely with the sales manager and report on how the team is doing.
- Step in on calls when an agent needs help.
- Experience leading a sales team or a call center team, or a strong senior agent who is ready to lead.
- A real ability to coach people and help them improve.
- Good spoken English, clear and confident.
- A solid understanding of outbound sales and the warm transfer way of working.
- Someone who can read simple numbers and use them to guide the team.
- Reliable and steady, and able to hold a team to a high standard with care.
- Willing to work night shift in our office.
You do not need to come from insurance. If you have led a sales or call center team well, and you can coach and motivate people, we will teach you the product.
Nice to have- Experience in United States insurance, final expense, or life insurance.
- Experience with dialers, a CRM, or call quality tools.
- Experience helping a team grow in size.
