Civil Engineering Operations Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our civil and structural engineering operations. You will be an integral part of our engineering department, contributing to the successful delivery of a variety of construction projects.

1. Assisting civil and structural engineers with project planning, design, and implementation
2. Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress
3. Preparing detailed reports, drawings, and project documentation
4. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities
5. Providing administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, managing project files, and maintaining databases
6. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, codes, and best practices
7. Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a civil or structural engineering operations role, preferably in the construction industry
3. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
4. Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
6. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
